GENDER AND TRANS INCLUSION & AFFIRMATION

Most folks agree that gay, lesbian, bi, and transgender individuals deserve rights and support, but may feel awkward asking questions and desire more tools, language, and resources. This workshop is for professionals and community members who would like a space to examine the history and concept of gender. In this 1.5 hour workshop, you will learn:
  • The difference between sex, gender, and sexuality
  • The historic impact of colonization on the gender binary
  • Suggestions for advocating for inclusive policies in your workplace
